absolutely!! being created in the image of God, we are all creative beings! the saddest thing is to see that creativity crushed by abuse, self-hatred and other tragic circumstances.
Thanks Mre for putting these wonderful thoughts together. It’s about being creative in the everyday and seeing the chaos as creativity. I have been blown away with how energizing creativity is lately. Thanks to you and this post I am encouraged to take advantage of the time while I have it as these times are far and few between. Love you.
Balance has become much harder here, with a full-time job. I find it hard to respond to emails, nevermind doing the deeper work of writing… in journals, on the blog. Weekends can be tough, with the constant sense of push-and-pull. I love our family time together, but I quickly become a grump without some quiet morning alone time. I hear your frustration, Maria. You will find more time as the “kidlets” get older. But for now, yes, probably most days, thwarted creativity will reign. Try to enjoy the messes??
